Hello, my name is Cody Lipps.  My wife Tracy and I have two kids, Erin (10), and Garrett (7). When my kids started playing sports I was taking a lot of pictures of them. One day someone asked me if I would send them some copies of the pictures I had taken. One thing led to another and it has turned into a full time hobby now. I now take pictures at all of their sporting events, as well as Motocross and BMX events.

My real passion is Motocross and this is where I now spend most of my time behind the camera.  My mom and dad both rode and raced dirt bikes back in the early 70's.  They got me started at the age of 6. Heck, my sister even raced a few times as well.  It was, and has always been, a family sport.  I have been riding and racing for the past 40 years.  Now both of my kids ride, or have raced, and my wife is the best cheerleader at the track!

Since I race, I feel I have a unique view of what the riders are doing or going to do.  I have some different points of view in my pictures that you don't see all the time.

I am not sure what tomorrow holds, but one thing is for sure, I plan on spending as much time as I can with with my family and friends, and taking  pictures of them. This is the best way I've found to share the memories that last a life time.
